One rescued cougar turned into two rescued cougars, then the USDA asked her to take in a tiger, and in 2000, In-Sync Exotics Wildlife Rescue and Educational Center was born. So, rather than letting the cat be euthanized, Vicky went through all of the hoops and red tape to be able to legally and responsibly care for the cat herself. The doctor treated the cat, but the owners never came to pick the cougar back up. One day, someone brought in a cougar for treatment. Vicky used to be a vet tech at a local veterinarian’s office.
